Capricorn One N.V. is a construction and appraisal firm based in Aruba, operating at Caya Soeur Meletia 18, Oranjestad, Aruba. We are the "data controller" for the personal information described in this policy, which means we are responsible for how it is handled.

• Country — if you provide it, to help us understand your situation
• The service you're interested in — so we can respond with relevant information

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some information automatically when you visit. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to see whether our advertising is working. These tools may collect:

• How you arrived at our site (search engine, ad click, direct visit)

• An anonymized identifier so Google can recognize returning visitors

Your information may be shared within Capricorn One N.V. — currently between Dennis Joseph Ecury and Ing. Joseph Dennis Ecury-Saponara — to deliver the service you requested. This is standard operational handoff within the firm.

With service providers that help us run the business

We use a small number of third-party services that process some of your data on our behalf:

• Netlify — hosts our website and processes contact form submissions
• Google — provides website analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Google Ads)
• Gmail / Google Workspace — we use Google's email services to correspond with clients
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's privacy terms

These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and contracts with us. We do not give them information beyond what they need to perform their service.

When we are legally required to

We may share information if we are required to by law, by a court order, or by a legitimate request from Aruban authorities, such as the tax authority or the courts.

With the banks, notaries, or insurance companies you have engaged us to work with

If you hire us to produce a report that will be submitted to a bank, notary, insurance company, or other institution, your information and the report will be shared with that institution — that is the purpose of the engagement.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep the personal information you give us for as long as needed to serve you, plus up to 7 years afterwards. This matches Aruban tax and professional record-keeping requirements, and means that historical appraisal records remain available to you or to the banks you work with.

Website analytics data (from Google Analytics and Google Ads) is kept according to Google's default retention periods, typically 14 months.

7. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information:

• Our website is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection)
• Access to our email and client records is restricted to the people who need it
• We use well-established service providers (Netlify, Google) that have significant security resources
• We do not store credit card numbers, social security numbers, passport numbers, or similar sensitive information — we have no operational need for that data and we do not collect it

No system is completely immune to risk, but we work to keep your information as safe as is practical.

You have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, these rights include:

• Correction — the right to have inaccurate information corrected
• Deletion — the right to have your information deleted, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations
